Upon earning my Ph.D. from Zhejiang University (Top 3 in China) in 2022, I serve as an Associate Professor of Educational Technology at Hangzhou Normal University, focusing my research on the crossroads between learning sciences and learning analytics. As an advocate of learning sciences and the use of technology in education, my academic pursuits involve the combination of artificial intelligence in education, K-12 programming education, software engineering, and data science methodologies to perpetually enhance learning ecosystems. I draw deeply from design-based research and participatory design methodologies to forge ahead in my mission. My overarching goals revolve around forging equitable pedagogical designs, steering technological advancements in education, and deriving empirically-grounded insights into the dynamics of learning within real-world settings.

I am an academic reviewer for a variety of prestigious journals in the fields of education and technology. My reviews have contributed to the International Journal of Educational Technology in Higher Education, International Journal of STEM Education, Education and Information Technologies, Journal of Computer Assisted Learning, Journal of Educational Computing Research, Asia Pacific Journal of Education, among others. These roles have given me the opportunity to stay current with emerging research and trends, and to contribute to the high standards of academic rigor in these disciplines.
Prior to setting sail on my academic odyssey with Hangzhou Normal University, I equipped myself with invaluable, hands-on pedagogical wisdom in the realm of K-12 computer science education. My tenure as a High School Computer Science teacher at the eminent High School Attached to Zhejiang University - a well-recognized provincial key school - has not only bestowed upon me this practical wisdom, but also an intricate understanding of education technology, thereby molding my progressive educational philosophies and research orientations.
Indeed, amidst my scholarly pursuits, I was conferred the distinct honor of representing my institution at several globally recognized universities, including the esteemed Cambridge University and Nanyang Technological University among others. These enriching exchanges allowed for profound immersion into diverse academic cultures and the exploration of an array of pedagogical paradigms, further bolstering my understanding of global education systems and ultimately refining my pedagogical practices.
This is home for my research publications.
